					<description><![CDATA[A good early 18th Century Elm Bureau of a lovely rich golden colour. The fall opens to a shaped and stepped interior around an inlaid central door which is flanked by pullout columns.

The linings are made in pine and are in good clean original condition, the back is mostly original and made in pine.

In very good original condition, retaining the original feet and most of the brassware, having just three brass escutcheons replaced.

It's rare to find an early Georgian bureau in elm and in such a fabulous original condition.

					<description><![CDATA[A beautiful George II walnut bureau displaying fantastic colour and patination. Crossbanded and cockbeaded drawers with a very fine herringbone detail throughout. Opening the fall reveals a well-fitted interior with an arrangement of pigeon holes, drawers and secret pull-out columns, above a sliding well. Four long drawers, fitted with original brass handles and escutcheons. Raised on shaped bracket feet.
 
Fabulous original colour and patina and in excellent condition with only the back feet replaced.

					<description><![CDATA[A rare and probably unique 17th Century Parquetry Oak overhanging Bureau of great colour and surface.
 
Having three long drawers below a fitted interior. The interior is fitted with small drawers with an opening well to the centre, which is fitted with secret drawers. The drawer linings are made in Oak and are in good clean original condition. The fall and top unusually are overhanging and decorated with a D-mould to the outer edges. The fall is also fitted with a reading rest. The Bureau is in good condition, having only replaced brassware of the correct period.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[A Fine Queen Anne Walnut Bureau with well figured fiddleback walnut veneers.
 
The fall opens to reveal a sliding well, a shaped and stepped interior of drawers and pigeon holes, pull out columns and a central door.
 
Two short over two long drawers with a herringbone banding and cross-grain mouldings throughout.
 
Excellent quality with oak lined dovetailed drawers and an oak back.
 
Wonderful condition retaining the original locks and working keys to the drawers and fall, the turned bun feet are replaced but in the correct style. Superb colour and patina. Circa 1710.

					<description><![CDATA[A rare early Georgian Kneehole Bureau of a wonderful colour and patination.
Having a well figured fall which opens to reveal an interior of oak lined dovetailed drawers and pigeon holes. Below is a recessed kneehole cupboard flanked by six drawers with a long drawer above.
The bureau has been made to the highest standards, with all of its carcassing and drawer linings made from quarter sawn oak and finished in a superior grade of figured Mahogany. Superb faded colour to the Mahogany, with an excellent patina and lovely clean drawer linings.
Retaining most of its original brassware and its original key (although the bow of the key has broken away, please see photos).Please don't hesitate to contact us with any queries or to request additional photos.
