A good 17th-century moulded dresser base of an unusual and rare small size, having a two-piece top with a moulded edge above two drawers decorated with applied geometric mouldings and standing on boldly turned front legs.

Of a wonderful, rich, warm colour and well-burnished patina in excellent condition, having just one half of a drawer bottom replaced. The drawer knobs are later, and the piece retains all the original mouldings.

Circa 1670.

A late 18th-century oak dresser base of a fabulous light golden color, featuring a two-piece molded top above three cockbeaded drawers decorated with mahogany crossbanding. The fielded paneled doors open to reveal one large open space with the original oak shelf running the full length. It has fielded paneled ends, the original oak back, and original drawer linings, all standing on the original stile feet.

A lovely example which is slightly smaller than average and in excellent condition, having just replaced brass handles but retaining the iron butterfly hinges to the doors.
