An early 19th-century adjustable-height music or piano stool on four turned and reeded mahogany legs. Attributed to Gillows of Lancaster. The height is adjustable from 48 cm to 62 cm. Good color and condition. Circa 1820.

Set of 6 Spindleback Chairs

A good, sturdy set of six spindle-back dining chairs. They feature a shaped cresting rail with a carved fan above two rows of spindles. Large, solid oak inset seats are raised on attractively turned front legs. They are joined with decorative turned stretchers at the front and simple spindle stretchers at the sides and rear. They are in excellent color and condition. Seat height of 45cm. The carved fan in the crest rail is often called the Liverpool pattern, and the chairs were usually made in the surrounding areas of Cheshire or Lancashire.

17th-century oak box stool / close stool

A good English oak close stool with ball-and-fillet turned legs and stretchers, scratch-moulded rails, and a bold waist mould, all of an excellent colour and patina. It is in good original condition and retains the original till. A very similar example is photographed in Tobias Jellinek's book, "Early British Chairs and Seats," on page 260, plate 356. Circa 1685.

19th Century French Cherry Wood Farmhouse Table And Six Chairs.

This cherry wood French farm table features square legs, an H-stretcher, and a breadboard integrated into the side rail. It offers 62 cm of clearance beneath the rails and can be purchased either individually or as a set with six country-style spindle back chairs.

Description A good set of four Yorkshire backstools consisting of three and one similar. Having turned legs and front stretchers. The shaped back crests with carved scrolls, central flower heads and acorn pendants. The uprights with scrolled terminals and split spindle appliques. The three chairs are of an excellent colour, of good original condition having just tipped feet. The chair to the right has slightly different carving to the two shaped splats, also this chair has been restored in the past and has a later seat and front legs. Early 18th Century Oak Settle in very good original condition, retaining all the original rails , arms and legs. Having the original front and side stretchers, the rear one is missing but this doesn't affect the overall stability of the settle. Having five ogee fielded panels , shaped arms and boldly turned legs, the stiles inlaid with pollard oak and of a superb colour and patina. Roped seat and a feather cushion. Seat height of 44cm. A 17th Century armchair from the Somerset region in superb original condition and of a fabulous colour.
Having a shaped crest, a boldly carved quatrefoil panel, shaped arms leading to well turned gun barrel arm supports and legs. A well patinated two piece seat above scratch moulded seat rails.
The chair has lost a little height over the centuries but still has a seat height of 46cm.
