This early 19th-century tripod table features a two-piece octagonal top with a cock-beaded edge, supported by a well-turned column and outswept legs. The piece is constructed from a combination of timbers—specifically an oak top, a cherrywood stem, and elm legs—reflecting the common practice in country furniture craftsmanship of using whichever materials were readily available at the time. Good original colour and condition.

A very fine 18th-century George III period mahogany tripod table. This table consists of a solid, well-figured mahogany tilt top with a pie-crust edge, above a wonderfully carved, spirally fluted column. This fine-quality Georgian table is raised on well-drawn, outswept, carved cabriole legs that terminate in fine ball-and-claw feet.

A late 18th-century side table of the most glorious colour and patination, having a cross-banded, three-piece top with a molded edge above a single long drawer, also with fruitwood cross-banding and retaining the original brassware. The table features a shaped apron and is raised on square legs with edge-beading and an inside chamfer. In excellent original condition. Welsh/English borders, circa 1780.

An attractive, solid 18th-century yew-wood lowboy, having a well-figured top over three drawers retaining their original brass knobs, an elegantly shaped frieze, and raised on cabriole legs with pointed pad feet. In good condition, having just a couple of small repairs to the feet.

A superb early 18th-century walnut lowboy/side table of stunning, untouched golden colour and patina. The top features a four-piece match, walnut feather banding, cross-banding, and a cross-grained moulded edge. A well-shaped frieze is fitted with one long and two short drawers, decorated with feather banding and cockbead decoration to the edge, standing on well-shaped cabriole legs. In excellent original condition, having good oak drawer linings and the original domed drawer pulls. Circa 1730

An extremely rare and small fruitwood center table, probably made of plum wood, the top with a molded edge and re-entrant corners, standing on elegantly turned legs finished with simplified hoof feet. Having gently splayed legs and shaped rails on all sides makes this a very attractive table. A rare survivor of sophisticated English country furniture, featuring a wonderful color and patina. Circa 1730.

Mid 18th Century English George II Mahogany Lowboy

A good George II mahogany lowboy of excellent colour; the well-figured solid mahogany top with a moulded edge and rounded corners. It has one shallow and two deep cock-beaded drawers retaining the untouched original handles and the original oak drawer linings. The shaped apron is raised on well-shaped cabriole legs with a slipper foot. At just 30'' wide and of the most wonderful untouched colour and surface, this lowboy is an excellent example of early Georgian mahogany furniture.
