Description
This large Yorkshire chair has a bold carved crest and ear pieces. A lozenge carved back panel with large pendants usually associated with the Dales region of Yorkshire.
The chair does not retain its original seat but is a wonderful example of its type.
An example of this type of chair can be seen in Victor Chinnerys book ‘Oak Furniture The British Tradition’ Page 476 4.131.
