Description
An 18th century Georgian oak eight day longcase clock of commanding size. By repute the clock resided in Foxdenton Hall Chadderton. The maker of the clock is John Oliver of Manchester.
The case and hood both have elements of great detail having pollarded oak bandings ,fine blind frets and detailed cast brass spandrels which overall come together to make a great looking clock.
