A rare and well-figured pollard oak veneered 18th Century Bureau of good colour, having a superb shaped and stepped interior with a central cupboard featuring secret drawers and pull-out guinea pockets to the shaped frieze. The linings are clean and made in oak. Handles and feet replaced in keeping with the period.
