Small Early 18th Century Corner Cupboard

A rare early Georgian floor standing corner cupboard of the most wonderful colour and patination and of an unusually compact size. The top cupboard door has a shaped fielded panel inlaid with a starburst and further inlaid decoration to the corners. The interior has two shelves and two small drawers, behind which are further secret compartments. A square-field panel to the bottom door featuring the same inlaid decoration to the corners opening to a single shelf.

Fabulous condition retaining the original engraved brass hinges to both doors, interior drawers and escutcheon to the top door. All the shelves are original, though one is missing.

A couple of small repairs to the feet and a bottom board replaced.
