This joined oak high dresser is from the Montgomeryshire region of Wales. The shaped frieze of the base is typical of this region. The dresser and rack is a bold example of its type and has wonderful colour and surface associated with quality oak furniture from Wales . Although the drawer linings have been replaced and the rack reduced in height, this is still a great example of this type of dresser and rack.
