Description
A fine Early 18th Century Walnut Chest On Stand of the most outstanding colour and patina, standing on its original square cut cabriole legs. Having quarted cross banded top, book matched ends and cross grained moulds. The drawer fronts with well chosen book matched veneers. Drawer linings in pine of dovetailed construction and retaining their original iron locks. Handles replaced but probably only 20 or so years into its life.
Mellowed to a glorious honey colour and having fantastic patina.
