Rare William And Mary Oak Parquetry Bureau

A rare and probably unique 17th Century Parquetry Oak overhanging Bureau of great colour and surface.

Having three long drawers below a fitted interior. The interior is fitted with small drawers with an opening well to the centre, which is fitted with secret drawers. The drawer linings are made in Oak and are in good clean original condition. The fall and top unusually are overhanging and decorated with a D-mould to the outer edges. The fall is also fitted with a reading rest. The Bureau is in good condition, having only replaced brassware of the correct period.
