An 18th Century Oak Four Drawer Dresser Base.
£0.00
An Excellent George II Oak Dresser base of a fabulous untouched colour and patina. With a boldly shaped apron, three well shaped cabriole legs to the front and square legs to the back The drawer fronts finished with a lip mould, this feature was made fashionable in the early Georgian period. Four drawer examples are a lot rarer than the more common three drawer version.
The Dresser is in remarkably original condition, retaining all original brassware and oak drawer linings.
Two ear pieces replaced.
Circa 1740
