A Rare 17th Century William And Mary Burl Walnut Cabinet On Chest, Circa 1690

A very rare 17th Century glazed display cabinet on a three drawer chest. Veneered in figured walnut,having cross-grain mouldings and of the best colour and surface. The glazed cabinet having a veneered interior, a solid walnut shelf and a plate rebate would suggest the cabinet was made to display an important collection.
In excellent condition having just later handles and feet but retaining the original glass, drawer locks and key .
Superb small size, a real collectors piece.
