An early English 17th century Oak food cupboard.
This piece consists of a central pin hinged cupboard door with a pierced lozenge panel, flanked by two further pierced lozenge panels.The front is further decorated with carving both applied and to the rails which gives the piece a striking look. The ends have the same pierced lozenge panel, bordered by four applied carved rosettes.
The cupboard has been wall mounted in the past and has iron hanging brackets which can be seen in the photos.
The cupboard has some old historic woodworm which has been treated and is no longer alive. Overall it is in excellent condition and has great colour and patination.
